What did the developer identify as the next resources?
The Playtest Week announcement starts from Slipstream Drive research and directs players to other sectors of the solar system for Cobalt and Graphite. Those resources support Electromagnetic Science and Quantum Science. Plan access to the required sector alongside the production that consumes its materials.

How does this apply to the current demo?
The later Next Fest announcement explicitly opens Electromagnetic Science in the demo. Read your current research tree rather than expecting the entire September playtest progression. Keep a research target, required resource and accessible destination together in your notes so a missing route is not mistaken for a machine fault.
